The pieces for the IHQ Mediterranean Mosaic Table Runner are made and quilted in the hoop. The design has a low stitch count, so it stitches out really quickly. This table runner uses flip-n-turn to create each block. They are super quick and easy to make. Once all the flip-n-turn is done, the quilting is added to the block.
Our handy stitch charts have each step nicely laid out and labelled. Each step is explained in our instructions along with photos. This design is done for the 6x6 hoop. See PDF below for sizes and details.
The approximate finished size of this Table Runner is: 32” x 20”
The finishing of the table runner is done by sewing machine. The pieces are sewn together and then a backing fabric is added. A bit of hand sewing is required to close off the opening once the backing is put onto the table runner.
