Make a cute mesh bag for the beach, pool, park or gym. It’s perfect for holding a bottle of water, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, beach essentials, toiletries and more. It can also be tucked into a suitcase to organize your things.
Finished Bag Size: 12” x 13”
Materials Needed: (If you have directional fabric, you may need more. If using heavier weight fabric than cotton, you may not need the stabilizer.)
• 1 - Fat Quarter of fabric (Exterior fabric)
• 1⁄2 yard (Interior fabric and coordinating fabric for the straps)
or 1- Fat Quarter of fabric if not making your own straps and using paracord, laundry cord or another strap (2 straps/cords of 84” long needed).
• 1 - Fat Quarter of Mesh (Mesh usually comes in a package larger than a fat quarter).
• 1⁄2 yard of 20” wide Woven Fusible interfacing for the bag bottom and drawstring casing.
Notions: Standard foot, coordinating thread, rotary cutter, cutting mat, bodkin or safety pin, scissors, clips or pins, 80/12 needle and bias tape maker(Optional).
