The felt bunny tin play set is fun and simple to make from scraps of felt, fabric, cardstock, and a metal tin box (use recycled Altoid mint tins or purchase empty tins online). The finished bunny is approximately 2 1/2” wide by 4 1/2” tall. The bunny is stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges, along with French knots for the eyes and a straight stitch for the muzzle line.
A printable PDF is included for the carrot house design on front of tin, window design inside tin lid, and rainbow design on back of tin. If you love the little bunny but don’t want to use a tin, you can make an adorable felt carrot bag for him/her to sleep in. Patterns can be enlarged or reduced to make the bunny and sleeping bags any size that you would like.
