The farm animal softies are fun and simple to make! They are stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges and a stem stitch for the muzzle on the sheep. The body-head-ears-arms-&-legs are all together in one pattern shape for each animal – they are not attached separately which can be time consuming and difficult. The finished animals are approximately 4 1/2” tall x 5 1/2” across. They are made from scraps of wool and acrylic felt. Enlarge or reduce patterns to make the animals different sizes. Safety eyes are used for sample animals – other options for the eyes are to make them using embroidery, paint or felt.
