This set contains many patterns in several sizes. There are 2 cakes and a set of candles numbers from 0 – 9. You can add the candles to the cakes by using an editing program and pasting the candles on either cake. Please do not colour sort or you will end up with a black outline that crosses over your numbers.. Ask me how I know. The cakes that are vertical fit hoops so that you can add the candles to them in one hooping. The cake patterns are not too dense so the candles sewout on top just fine.
I included the frames I used for the verses so you can add our own or choose patterns from the set to create your own. The verses come with and without the frames so you can use them as you like. If you are into card making these will make wonderful Birthday cards your friends will want to keep. I have several friends and family members who actually ask me for them. You can choose what colours you want to use on the frames as well. In photostitch it sews out in order, dark, medium colour, then the lightest but with these frames I wanted the last colour to pop so I made it a dark gold. The colour choice is yours. The frames are done in photostitch so please snip out the long jump stitches as you see them, there is no way to avoid them when digitizing but easily snipped out as you sew them out. If you are concerned about stitches coming undone when you snip out the large jumps you can touch the ends with some fray check but I have never had a problem with that.
On the attached instruction sheet there is a section on sewing out photostitch that is valuable to read.
There are several tutorials on YouTube on how to make embroidered cards. I recommend you stitching the verses out with a black bobbin or whatever colour you use to stitch out the fonts, it really makes them POP if you use the same colour.
These patterns would look wonderful on any type of project you choose to create and I would love to have a photo of your finished work for the web site.
Please remember to hoop and stabilize well as some of the patterns are very large and have fancy fills.
Thank you, Beryl of Emerald Originals
