Specially for those who don't have sewing machines! Made with attention to details.
With this design, you will make a shopping bag without a sewing machine, I use only an embroidery machine and several manual seams.
As handles, we use a webbing. And the side seams are connected with the help of buttonholes and a satin ribbon. You can use knitting threads or thin pieces of leather. Show your imagination and creativity.
The bag size in the finished form is 14" x 16.5".
The bag is made in 5 hooping and a few hand stitches. Sewing machine is not needed.
You can sew a pocket on the bag (attached as a bonus), made in the trapunto technique from the main or decorative fabric. And the zipper on the pocket will allow you to carefully fold the bag inside this pocket and transform it into a small purse. In this case, 2 more stages are added.
1) pocket and the pocket connection with the bag
2) decorative elements for the zipper ends design
As an option, you can not sew zippers, and you will just have a bag with a pocket.
