On the front of the clutch I used applique to create the nose and mouth. You can use a running stitch or satin stitch for the applique on your regular sewing machine.
On the top is a zipper so everything stays put. I finish off the zipper ends for easy installation with a simple yet professional touch. On the tippy top I created two cute little ear pieces that are stitched inside the zipper seam. This way when the zipper is complete, the ears stand up perfectly straight, just like an alert kitty cat.
On the back side I’ve added a simple yet effective means to carry it around town. A horizontal strap, stitched on the ends to secure it in place. This allows for the user to slip their hand in from the back. Inside the clutch and strap I use a fantastic foam batting.
