The felt kitty softies are fun and simple to make! They are stitched entirely by hand, using a whip stitch around the felt edges, and a straight stitch for the muzzle and paw lines. The kitty body-head-ears-arms-legs are all together in one pattern shape – they are not attached separately which can be time consuming and difficult. The finished kitty is 6 1/2” tall x 4 1/2” across. Kitties are made from scraps of wool felt (acrylic felt can be used but wool/wool blend felt will be more durable). Enlarge or reduce patterns to make the kitties different sizes. Safety eyes are used for sample kitties – other options for the eyes are to make them using embroidery, paint or felt.
