The bug softie toys are fun and simple to make from scraps of felt. Instructions are included to make a bumble bee, ladybug, beetle and butterfly. The bug bodies with antennae are 6” tall by 4” wide. Bumble bee wings are 5” across at widest point. Butterfly wings are 6 1/2” across at widest point. Patterns can be enlarged or reduced to make the bugs any size that you would like. Bugs are made with safety eyes – other options for eyes are felt circles or embroidery. The bugs are stitched entirely by hand, using whip stitches around the felt edges, stem stitches for the mouths and straight stitches for details on bee wings. Pony beads were stitched to antennae (optional).
