This mug rug is completely stitched in the hoop; no additional hand or sewing machine stitching required. The background is pieced and quilted in the hoop. The vase is appliqued. Our detailed instructions will show you how to do that. There are three stitch files in your download. One with the full design as shown, another one with the design and the words “Happy Birthday” and finally a plain one that will allow you to fussy cut favorite fabrics for the center. The font used for “Happy Birthday” is our Aurora 0.50”.
